These Avia Bolt II's are the lightest of my running shoes and they look Good ... They are over a year old now and to date i have done two 5Ks, one 15K and one Half Marathon 21.1K road race in them, along with some training sessions. I dont log too many miles in them as i prefer to keep them for races.About the shoe:Lightweight - YesBreathable - Yes, especially around the toe areaAesthetics - Great design / colours (i like that i don't see too many people with them)Fit - True to size (i use 9.5M)Comfort - As much as i like this shoe for running, i dont like it much for walking. The arch design in the heel of the sole feels a lil awkward to me, but as there is little heel contact when running it feels better for running. Forefoot area feels good. I give it 4 out of 5 for comfort.

Prior to getting these shoes I was experiencing some shin pain that had me cutting my runs short it was so bad. The shin pain has been almost entirely alleviated already without even giving myself any rest. I weigh 220lbs for the record, so I'm very hard on my feet and legs when I run.I see this as a positive, although my feet had to adjust to it, but on the inside heel of the shoe there is a rubber support that I assume is supposed to keep your heel from rolling inward which is very good, but it did give me blisters initially. Now I really appreciate it for helping keep my feet in the proper position.Overall I'm very pleased with them, and my feet and legs feel much better running.

This shoe has gotten my hubby through an ironman and 2 triathlons and he just keeps replacing this shoe...vows he won't change styles.
