3Ok but will not use for a triathlon or run
By Juan D. Guerrero
I like to run triathlons with my 5 finger Vibrams but the downside is putting the suckers on is a chore. I saw these and I thought it was perfect I just slip them on and start running...Wrong.The opening is small so I really have to jam my foot through with a lot of effort and once I have my foot inside its slipping/sliding all over the place. I ran in them for a mile and had tons of hot spots all over my foot, and my foot got sweaty, they don't breathe very well. The shape you see in the picture its the shape its going to stay so you are putting your foot in a cavern. From heal to toe they fit perfect, so I got the right size but I don't think anyone's foot is that fat. This really needs a strap or shoe laces to help it conform to your foot.I won't be wearing these for a run but I have been wearing them just as regular walking shoes. They have good arch support, soft and after 5 minutes you forget you have them on. I though of taking them hiking but after I walked through a small puddle and slipped, I realized they have very little grip.

3Don't try to run
By RG
I purchased these on impulse when Amazon had them as the "Deal of The Day." These "shoes" aren't at all good for running as they slip on the foot and just are not comfortable. They become sweaty and very cumbersome. Moreover, these don't provide any lateral stability when used in the gym. If you have ankle problems these clearly will not be comfortable. There is absolutely no cushioning. The sole is made of a hard compound which looks and feels like thick rubber.I'm a size 10 1/2 D in normal shoes and ordered a size 11. They are a little snug in length, but are fine in width. They do stretch and conform to the foot just enough to not be uncomfortable, however. That is, they are a little forgiving if the size you order is a tad bit small. I recommend ordering at least one half to one size larger than your normal size. As of March 2012, these only come in whole sizes - making it difficult to find the sweet spot in individual sizing. It would be nice if these were made in half sizes.I echo what the previous reviewer notes: the "shoes" do not grip well so I would not recommend wearing these for traction on a rainy day or for rock climbing. I feel there are better brands out there just by reading the user reviews; however, these are comfortable for casual wear to the beach, a pool where if you are not concerned about slipping, for yoga or just around town if you want people to stare at the person (you) wearing the funny "things" on their feet. For $29 I'll keep these handy for (I don't know what yet), but am not blown-away impressed.

4Love 'em
By Robert S. Rowland
I've tried VFF's and still plan on buying a pair, but for 30 bucks these were too cheap to pass on. I do prefer the five toe canals of VFF's and the thinner material, but really those are the only things I can distinctly point to that puts VFF's over the Filas. I am not a runner so I can't speak to that point, but for work and general wear the trifit skeletoes are great. My feet fit perfect in my pair with no moving around or heavy sweating either. I really dig them.
