i bought this to run mid distance track. the heel cushion really helped after the fourth lap! the plastic/hard rubber spikes were good enough for my speed so i didn't use the metal spikes at all. the shoes are exactly orange like pictured.they are comfortable, but i wished the toes were a bit longer...or it was just my feet? i am sure i clipped my toe nails before the races.

This is the first time I have ever bought track spikes and these are very good for my son's middle school track team. The price was great, the color is the school colors and its a brand name that he isn't ashamed to wear
