Great Insoles

These insoles are fantastic. I used to run in the blue "Superfeet" insoles and my podiatrist recommended Montrail instead. After a long run on the Montrail Enduro-Sole LP's I can say that these are hands down better. I've also tried the regular Enduro-Sole inserts, (not the LP), they are good for a pair of roomy boots, but not for running shoes which tend to be tighter. I highly recommend them.

The best running shoes I have ever owned

Read SKORA's website. They really mean it when they say they have put a lot a work into these shoes. They're amazing. Not too long to break them in, and I've noticed a considerable difference in my running style. I use them mainly for running in triathlon training, but they're sleek enough to fit perfectly in the foot cages of my bike.I was reluctant about the velcro straps, feeling I wouldn't get the perfect fit. I was wrong. the shoes fit perfectly. Recommend getting a half size smaller. I usually wear a 10, and 9.5 fits perfect. I highly recommend this shoe, especially if you don't want to drop the almost $200 for the SKORA Form. These will not disappoint.

Just right

Been looking for a barefoot style running shoe for ages. Tried the New Balance, sole was just too thin and didn't like the way it pinched my foot. Also tried the Saucony, which also pinched, though super light weight. The Skora, though, is perfect. Light weight, thin sole but enough cushioning (especially with the insert). Does run large, so recommend one size up.

The left shoe squeaks...and squeaks...and squeaks

After less than one week the left shoe squeaks with every step.I've worn Pearl Izumi Iso Shift for almost 3 years and I loved them.This is the first pair that I've had problems with. They must be returned.

Great stability shoe - perfect all-around trainer

Got these as a gift from a friend and shortly after I'd been to a running shoe clinic which analyzed my stride and recommended a stability shoe. Great mid-sole stiffener. My first "running" shoes after wearing boxy and too-clunky cross trainers for years. Perfect balance of lightness and support for me, for lifting, cross-fit and other activities in addition to running.

Love these shoes

About 5 years ago I first tried the Pearl Izumi stability line of shoes. I am overweight so I wanted a lot of support around my ankle for working out. They were perfect. Nike is overpriced and too soft/cushy for me and everything else seems to wear out in a year. I bought my previous pair 3 years ago and they are still awesome (they are my wear-everywhere pair now.) I bought the Iso Shift pair to replace those for my workout shoes. I doubt I'll every buy another brand (okay, I still really like New Balance). They fit like a glove, are light, and provide all kinds of support. Pearl Izumi is known for their quality biking shoes and that quality carries over to their other purposed lines.-Note for end of year buyers. If you are near a Pearl Izumi retail store (there're 14), you can catch the "past year" models on clearance - generally about half price. I paid $50 for these at the local retail store just outside of Chicago.

Great Lightweight Road Trainer

I've been running in the DS-Trainers by Asics for at least 5 or 6 consecutive years. I like this model a lot - 17 - because it's light and relatively stiff (feels fast, not mushy) but I don't feel like I'm on the pavement or underprotected. I like the DS-Trainers because the fit seems a bit narrow and that suits me. Good lightweight trainer that you can use every day and is raceable also.

Amazing shoes, but color is really bright

These feel amazing. The cushioning allowed my to complete an Insanity workout with pain-free joints for the first time. It holds my foot snugly during lateral movement, and my heel stays in place as well.However, the picture on Amazon shows sort of a sky blue color. When they arrived, it's more of a teal/bright blue. It's bright enough that it's almost a deal-breaker on these. I'm going to try the Asics Landreth 7, since they are very similar in design and they come in a grey/black/red combo. Hoping I can find a shoe I love as much on the outside as I do on the inside.

Good for turf, okay for treadmills, not good for hardwood floors, linoleum, and tile.

These are great for when running in grass, the street, or on a sidewalk. Treadmills, I Wouldn't recommend but it is doable just be careful. It's due to the slippery bottoms and the five circles that extend through the bottom sole (where the spikes go and these shoes do come with spikes and a tool to put them in the shoes.) I don't use them, so this is just about the shoe itself. Walking on any floor that's very smooth is difficult, you have to be very careful, your feet slip every step. Good shoe overall, just know what you're getting yourself into before you buy it. It fits very tightly but gets looser as you wear them out.

I love how the shoe kinda has that snug, light fit so that it feels like your running bare feet almost. The only thing is you have to buy the bottom spikes. Love it, I highly recommend this product

Poor Quality

I purchased these shoes for four reasons. 1. I have had great luck with New Balance shoes. 2. I loved the blue and grey color. 3. They were lightweight. 4. They were very comfortable. Within two weeks, I noticed the right shoe had a squeak which got progressively worse. A few days later, I noticed the sole was coming off. A day later, I noticed the sole was coming off the left shoe. I have never had shoes of any brand fall apart like these. I can still wear them, but I have to be very careful when taking them off so I don't pull the soles the rest of the way off. Is this the type of quality New Balance has now? I sure hope not because I have been more than pleased with the quality vs. dollar value of my past NB purchases.EDIT: I contacted New Balance a few months back about these shoes. They told me to send them in and they would replace them. Their customer service was great. They let me choose another pair of similar cost. I ended up with their 770 V2 which has been a fine pair of shoes for a couple months. I wear them almost every day and have noticed no wear. Every company will have a dud every once in a while. My bad experience with this shoe has ended up being a good experience. New Balance is still at the top of my list of shoes to purchase.

Poor quality - Sole came off on 2 pairs

These shoes are not up to New Balance normal standards. On my last pair the sole cam unglued from the boot part after 6 months or so. I figured any company can have a clunker so I ordered another pair.After wearing them less than a month, and only indoors and to and from work, the same delamination happened on the second pair. I am working with NB to replace them with a different model now.Check out the NB web site. They are discontinued. Now you know why.It's a real shame, the shoes were LIGHT and comfortable.

best running shoes ever

I used to run 20 miles a week but then I hurt my left knee. I tried all other running shoes including adidas, reebok, nike and asics while still hurting my knees. I could barely run 10 miles if not walking. Then I met these shoes. I never feel any pain on my knee again and I'm back running. Thanks New Balance!
