I knew it and I made the mistake.....dont make the same mistake

I read a lot of reviews that warned me about how narrow these shoes were and its true.....they are very narrow, dont buy them......youll probably think that the reviews are exaggerated and then youll probably read a couple of good reviews that will make you believe that these shoes will fit well, it happened to me too...but please listen, THEY ARE TOO NARROW!! DONT BUY if you want them for long runs....

I bought these shoes as trail runners/winter conditions shoes for here in New England. Overall, I'm happy with them. Especially like the multi-directional lugs and tread/traction they provide on various surfaces including light snow or the occasional icy/slush patch. Also very comfortable on paved roads. The stiff sole provides good protection to the bottom of your feet from objects such as small stones, sticks, hard divot edges, etc. One thing that did disappoint me a bit was the fit; specifically the width. I am a 10.5 in "normal" Asics, but these feel narrower than others I have worn. I'm not sure if this is because its a trail shoe or what. The length of the shoe is fine, but it feels a bit too snug around the balls of my feet(I have normal to narrow feet; have never had a width issue before). The laces that come with the shoes are also a little too short for my liking, but that's nitpicking. Overall a comfortable, quality shoe that provides better than average tread and sole protection while running on less than even surfaces.

Uncomfortable after running

Purchased a pair yesterday. Went out on a run this morning (was roughly 18 degrees F, not sure if that had any effect) and wasn't feeling it at first. Developed significant pain from the shoes and could not stand it by one mile out. Had to walk back. Returning the shoes today.I'll entertain the possibility that they may just not be broken in and/or not properly fitted. There is very slight heel slippage, however, the midsection of the shoe is snug. Who knows.

Comfortable

The LunarGlide+ 4s are really comfortable; lightweight, and feels really stable- but not too firm when you walk or run around in them. I wear them casually. I also wear them for volleyball practice, even though they're not meant for it, they absorb impact surprisingly well (37 inch vertical). Compared to the LunarGlide+ 3s, the 4s feel more 'snug' around my feet. The volt green is brighter in person than in pictures online.Owned a pair for 5 months now, still looks brand new.

These shoes really don't have much support. The outside of the shoe is more stable than the inside of the shoe. Would not recommend.

Best running shoe no one knows about

I run in the Asics Hyper Speed, the greatest all around road shoe ever made. I have been looking for an additional road shoe with a similar low heel to toe ratio with a bit more cushioning for long runs as well as recovery runs. I've tried the Brooks Pure Connect, Asics Gel Lyte33, and the Saucony Kinvara. All of them showed great potential but didn't work out for one reason or another. I stumbled across the Grid Fiya by accident at Shoe Carnival and loved it instantly. I immediately looked it up online and ordered it in black. It has a lower heel to toe drop than the Gel Lyte33 at only 4mm. It's also wider than both the Pure Connect and Gel Lyte and a bit lower to the ground than the Kinvara. It provides all the protection and feel for the ground I was looking for. The only drawbacks are some cheaper material around the Saucony logo on the upper and it also weighs a little more at just under 10 oz. for a men's size 9. If Saucony would upgrade the upper material and make this shoe as light as those I mentioned, this would be the best "protective" minimal road shoe out there. As for me, it's the best available option for my rotation with the Hyper Speed and the best road shoe for the money.

Excellent for Working Out

I love the feeling of the shoe. It is not a really heavy shoe, and it feels great on your feet. This is not just a shoe fore runners, but also great for any discipline. It also makes a great statement with its standoffish colors and designs. Although I have not had it long, I know that Puma is prominent for their long lasting, durable shoes and the sturdy build for this shoe leads me to believe it will not disappoint. I would recommend it to just about anyone with feet.
